Hitting the unfriends while they are clustered around a Fixer is a great strategy.
Shoot towards a group of enemies
Use in combination with Frost Blaster for bonus damage, however this build was heavily nerfed and is not commonly in use or recommended any more.
Having a tesla bolt is extremely effective with this speeder build, because if you can stun an enemy and get them slowed, it's very easy to take your time with your aim and get into a good position to hit them. It is not necessary to play the frost torpedo build however.
Fire off at start of game to try and hit enemies before they come in range. At the start of the game before you even see the enemy appear, think about where they most likely are. If you were on the other side of the map, where would you be at that time? Then fire wherever that is for most chance of hitting.
If you are unsure if a torpedo will hit its target, especially when it's visibly clear to them that you have torpedo equipped, it's a risky but worthy strategy to aim for nearby environment, flotsam, or friendlies that you could detonate your torpedo at to ensure you still get some damage in.
For teammates, It's also good strategy to catch torpedoes if and only if you are sure they are from another teammate, especially when engaged in close-combat with enemies.
Another extremely risky maneuver would be to get up close to an enemy who has a torpedo currently selected, to catch a torpedo before it is primed to detonate.
When shooting your torpedo at close range, always shoot your torpedo at either the front of back of your enemy's ship. This way, they can't dodge as well as they could if you shot it at their side. They could just jump from side to side and it would be much easier for them to juke you out. But they'd have to turn their ship either left or right then move out of the way if you shoot at their rear or front, as long as you're close enough.
