Perks are special items used to boost other items. Examples include increasing a weapon's damage, lowering an item's cooldown, or increasing the duration of an effect. Regular perks can have uncommon, rare, or epic rarity. Once fit into an item's perk slot, they can only be removed by salvaging, which costs 500 gold for an uncommon perk, 10 pearls for a rare, and 25 pearls for an epic. Regular perks can only be obtained through buying them in the market, or winning them in the guild raffle. Unlike items, perks are sold for gold instead of being scrapped.

Event perks, added on May 24, 2018 as part of the 3.0 update, are special perks with additional abilities. Event perks boost two stats instead of one, and can have legendary rarity as well as uncommon, rare, or epic. It costs 100 pearls to salvage a legendary perk. Only one of each event perk can be fit onto an item, unlike regular perks. Event perks can only be obtained from events.
