| Description | Launches devastating short range explosives. Sometimes sets enemies on fire for 5 seconds. |
Grenade Launcher is a close range, AOE weapon. Its critical hits, instead of dealing extra damage, set enemies on fire for 5 seconds. Its projectiles have an arc high enough to clear most waves, and they travel fast enough to make dodging a difficult task.
Before the 4.0 update, Grenade Launcher received a majority of its talents from Isak.

Strategies[ | ]
The Grenade Launcher is best suited on a Speeder or Enforcer, or on other ship loadouts with an emphasis on close range. It can be used aggressively to quickly approach and eliminate targets who are out of position.
The Grenade Launcher works well as a substitute to the Carronade for the following reasons:
- It has a slightly longer range, which enables it to be used in a greater variety of engagement scenarios.
- Its damage isn't spread out over multiple, individual projectiles - this means that it is much more effective against Defenders or other ships with high Defense points.
- It has a longer cooldown, which favors its usage on ships with multiple weapon slots.
- It also has a high critical chance, at 10%, so it also has some chance of critical hitting.
- Its damage is pretty good for a one-slot point item.
- Grenade Launcher's fire damage depends on the damage of the original hit and is a percentage of that original hit.
- The grenade works extremely well with a fire damage combo, as a replacement for a Flare Gun. As long as it's equipped with fire chance perks, Grenade Launcher will almost always set targets on fire.
